The 700-acre marine park is located on the eastern shore of Stephens Passage about 22 miles southeast of Juneau. Taku Harbor is frequently used as a night anchorage by commercial fishing boats and small tour ships. It is also a popular destination point for Juneau recreational boaters. Taku Harbor offers lots of fishing and crabbing opportunitiesr.
