The Chena Pump Wayside and Boat Launch is located at 8.7 mile Chena Pump Road, approximately 2 miles Southwest of the Mitchell Expressway overpass. This location covers approximately 60,000 sq ft of grassy areas with clusters of trees spread throughout the wayside. Featuring two large picnic shelters for picnicking activities, a port-a-potty for public use, and a beach access boat launch, it provides a great day location for Alaskan activities. Daily parking and boat launch fees apply for this location. The parking area is also maintained year-round.
